Tehran, Iran (PO) — In a stunning development which may decide the outcome of the 2004 Presidential Election campaign, Senator John Kerry was given a big boost when North Korean President for Life Kim Jong Il, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini, and Syrian President Bashar Assad held a joint press conference in which they endorsed the senator from Massachusetts for President of the United States.  In a prepared statement released to the world press the three leaders stated, “We believe the American people should vote for John Kerry for President. We feel that his leadership will benefit our long term goals and produce a much more relaxed atmosphere in which our countries can function unfettered.  We endorse Senator Kerry’s candidacy and look forward to removing the incumbent President, who, quite frankly, we simply don’t like at all.”

The three foreign leaders affirmed they decided to issue the unexpected endorsement at a press conference in Tehran today after consultations with representatives from many other interested groups including A.Q. Khan of Pakistan, PLO leader Yasser Arafat and Libyan President Mohammar Qadaffi.

Reaction from the Kerry Campaign headquarters was swift. A campaign worker at Kerry headquarters read the following statement, “We have been saying all along, that many foreign leaders support our campaign. We hope this puts an end to the nagging questions being asked by the Bush campaign as to who those foreign leaders are. Now at last, everyone can plainly see we were right when we said that leaders of foreign countries want to see a regime change in America.”

In a related development, Al Jazeera television this morning announced it received another videotape from Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in which he purportedly issues his endorsement for the US Presidential race.  Al Jazeera plans on broadcasting the tape within the next week.
