THE BULL AND THE BIZARRE
I'm Too Sexy for My List ...
... Or Maybe Not

Over the past few weeks, two lists have come out regarding famous people. The Phoenix.com released their "100 Unsexiest Men" list and Victoria Secret came out with "What is Sexy?" list.
For Victoria Secret, folks like musical stars Shakira and Maroon 5's Adam Levine, actors Patrick Dempsey and Halle Berry (finally a name I know), football MVP Tom Brady and tennis star Maria Sharapova top their lists. In their compilations they said, "We Looked at self-confidence, humor, presence, achievements."
For Phoenix.com, they compiled the 100 unsexiest men in the world. Topping the list this year was comic Gilbert Gottfried. Baseball legend Randy Johnson came in second. In that explanation they said "if he couldn't throw a ball 100 miles a hour, Johnson would be wearing a wife beater and getting hauled into a squad car on Cops". Ouch! Others on their list included Dr. Phil, Osama Bin Laden, Michael Jackson, and Carrot Top. Those names together are a scary thought.
There was one similar name on both lists which I am trying to figure out. The Tonight Show's Jay Leno. Victoria said he is "confident, funny, comfortable". I can't say why he made the Phoenix list because this is a family column.
But as it has been for years, sexy is in the eyes of the beholder. And as long as it is, most of us have the chance to be #1 on someone's list. Some of us may be like Leno and make them both.

Mr. Moo finds list like these humorous at best. He refuses to try to understand some people’s accounting for taste.
