Thank you Rich, for setting the issues in the clear perspective of the Church. Pro-life simply cannot be pro-murder--not under any circumstances. The principle of "one must die for the sake of the many" does not justify murder; it DOES teach us how we are each to carry the cross for ourselves and be willing to die before we are willing to kill another. Let us, as pro-life supporters, be the first to show meekness and kindness toward all, and never resort to the very sort of utilitarian violence that we decry.
Sincerely, Jonathan

Biblical paradox: "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" vs "thou shalt not kill." Lawless & twisted anti-abortion fanatics of the Christian sect who have indeed commited premediated murder while claiming to be Godly are no different than the 911 misguided & fanatic pilots who killed many in the name of Allah. Same type of mindset. Historically, killing of all kinds has went on and still going on in the name of religion!
Anti-abortionists who kill to protect the "UNBORN" by killing the "BORN" face the same music they danced to. What goes around comes around; death penalty serves to protect society from those having the capacity to kill. Murder in the name of religion, is not excempt.
Nowhere in the many religious works of supposed MEN of God claiming to be inspired by God ~ does it address the "UNBORN." Aka, a woman with child shalt not abort.
And, why might that be? No need to add the UNBORN. Woman didn't have ANY rights over their body or life back when MALE scribes claimed to be inspired by MALE GOD. MEN ruled over society. Men ruled over woman and children. MEN wrote, re-wrote, rewrote and rewrote the Bible. Woman had no rights or choices in those days.
MEN went as far as to create God in their image instead of them being created in God's image.
Thankfully, that era has faded!!!!! Educated females no longer buy into male supremacy and those cock & bull writings created in the Patriarchial Era.
PRO-CHOICE!

Addendum:
Origin of "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." This saying which is found in the Bible, Matthew 5:38 - King James Version, was extracted from Code of Hammurabi, King of Babylon. (1792-1750BC).
Hammurabi's Code 230 was based on the "principle of exact reciprocity." A compensating measure of justice for every wrong done. A person causing the death of another's child would have their own child be put to death.
Obsolete Codes (Biblical or non Biblical) and Obsolete Laws are no longer applicable. In today's world, a person's own child can not be killed for their killing of another person's child. Killing abortion doctor's children is out of the question in our society.
Blind faith in the unseen doesn't mean going by very extreme and obsolete codes or laws of very old and ignorant cultures while ignoring society's currant codes and laws. Faith-based that do -- in order to justify killing abortion doctor's are asking for trouble.
