There is no such thing as an "impartial observer." We all have our biases and unique point of view. The Partial Observer, launched in November 2000, is designed as a place for you, our readers, to share your observations with the world and see what others have to say on a wide variety of topics. Our intent is to present diverse opinions, serious and not-so-serious alike, though material that is racist, sexist, vulgar, or tasteless will not be published. This is a family-friendly site, and we do not want to be excluded by filtering software. The Partial Observer is not published in issues, but is continually updated as articles are received.
Since we do not pay for contributions, we do not expect our contributors to be professional writers, though professionals are more than welcome to submit articles.
We seek thinkers who can put their thoughts into writing as an article or a letter to the editor. For guidelines on submissions, see the Article Submission page.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. We hope you will bookmark the site and become a regular visitor and contributor to the ongoing discussions and ideas presented here.
