Pimp's win stunned me too. I'm no hip-hop afficianado, so I'm wondering what makes this an Oscar-worthy song. I can imagine that it works within the context of Hustle & Flow, a movie I didn't see, but is it a superior hip-hop 'tune' or did it win just because a hip-hop tune was nominated?
