Fascists Everywhere!

Everyone who disagrees with your opinion, or my opinion, would turn our country into a fascist state.

Fascists Everywhere!

Opponents of Obamacare are fascists because, obviously, they believe health decisions should be in the hands of corporations, not individuals and their doctors.

But supporters of Obamacare are also fascists because they believe health decisions should be in the hands of government, not individuals and their doctors.

Opponents of the Federal Reserve and the bankers are fascists because they are just speaking in code: they're really talking about Jewish financiers.

But supporters of the Federal Reserve are also fascists because the Fed supports and funds the corporation-dominated government.

Critics of neoconservatism and the Bush foreign policy are fascist because "neocon" is code for Jewish, pro-Israel intellectuals.

But supporters of the Bush foreign policy are also fascists because they illegally invaded Iraq without provocation.

Opponents of the Patriot Act, warrantless spying, torture, and assassinations are fascists, in that they hate America and want the Islamo-fascists to win.

But supporters of such measures are also fascist because they want everyone to sacrifice their liberty and privacy to the President, and let the government behave with no sense of restraint or decency.

Opponents of aid to Israel are fascist because they obviously want the world's only Jewish state to be wiped off the map.

But supporters of Israel are also fascist because they want American domination and control of the entire region through their Israeli proxies.

Supporters of a non-interventionist foreign policy are fascist because, if they had their way, the fascists would have won World War II.

But supporters of an interventionist foreign policy advocate war as a first resort, and mix their religious beliefs and values with militaristic national symbols -- just like fascists.

If you believe in New World Order conspiracies, you are a nativist fascist.

But if you support the New World Order, you are a corporatist fascist.

If you believe the First Amendment supports a corporation's right to free speech, you're a fascist who wants fraudulent elections and corrupt government.

But if you don't believe the First Amendment supports a corporation's right to free speech, you're a fascist because you believe the government has the right to censor information.

If you believe in the right to bear arms and in militias, you're probably a fascist who fantasizes about shooting minorities and liberals in a civil war.

But if you don't believe in the right to bear arms, you're a fascist who doesn't believe the Jews should have had the power to fight back when the Nazis rounded them up.

If you homeschool your children, you probably want to raise them up to lead a fascist theocracy.

But if you support the public schools, you want to condition the minds of youth so that they embrace fascist conformity.

If you believe the Civil War was unconstitutional, you're an apologist for slavery, which makes you a white supremacist, which makes you a fascist.

But if you do believe Lincoln's invasion was Constitutional, then you think the Constitution authorizes endless war and dictatorship, which makes you a fascist.

Those who proclaim "family values" and "God" are obviously fascists who want to cram their beliefs down your throat.

But then, so are those who would subjugate all social institutions and personal beliefs to the State.

Those who shout "Individual Freedom" and "Free Markets!" are speaking in code: they just support the corporate fascist state.

But those who would deny individual freedom and free markets are also fascists.

I wish all the fascists would just go away.

But then, who would be left?

The problem is that the status quo is undeniably tyrannical and that this is a natural result of where "mainstream" political thinking, of all varieties, is at. Show me a "centrist", an establishment conservative or an establishment liberal and I'll show you a statist. If one takes exception to some aspect of the status quo without rejecting it completely, the word "fascism" can be tempting because there's so much about the status quo that's arguably compatible with that label. If one rejects the status quo completely, it's that much more tempting.
